About
Overview
MUUS Collection, based in Tenafly, New Jersey, is launching its first Research Fellowship to invite a curator or academic to develop an exhibition or publication concept based on works from its archives of 20th century American photographers. The Research Fellow will examine physical works and ephemera (journals, contact sheets, cameras) and access the MUUSEUM online research portal. MUUS Collection will collaborate on placing and supporting publication and/or exhibition of the resulting work.

Eligibility
- Minimum five years professional experience at museums, galleries, universities, or similar cultural institutions
- Fluency in English (written and spoken) required

- Candidates from underrepresented or marginalized communities encouraged to apply
- Must be willing to travel to Tenafly, New Jersey for up to one week during mutually agreed-upon dates
- Must have flexibility for remote collaboration with archive team and advisory board
