Get matched →This annual grant opportunity supports a learning partnership between a recognized mentor artist and one or more qualified apprentices to continue artistic traditions of a shared cultural heritage. An apprentice should have some background in the art form and indicate a commitment to practice the art form after the apprenticeship has been completed.
Commission staff will not add or substitute material from one application to another. Samples may include up to ten images; up to five audio or video pieces not exceeding ten minutes total; or up to 20 pages of literature or playwright work (with optional one-paragraph synopsis if excerpted).
