Accommodation Overview
Burren College of Art offers campus accommodation for undergraduate Study Abroad students, visiting faculty, workshop participants and Artists-in-Residence across three properties: the Lodge, a 4-bedroom Bungalow, and Newtown House.
The Lodge
Set on extensive grounds with inspiring views of the Burren, a pleasant 10 minute walk from the College and 35 minutes from Ballyvaughan village. Features 11 en-suite twin bedrooms (single room rates also available), communal living room with open fire, dining room, TV area, well-equipped kitchen, laundry, public washrooms, and outdoor patio with chimney. WiFi throughout and wheelchair accessible rooms available.
The Bungalow
Adjacent to the Lodge with 2 en suite double bedrooms and 2 single rooms with shared full bathroom. Spacious communal area, cozy sitting room, fully equipped kitchen, and laundry facilities.
Newtown House
One of the original campus buildings, located next to the 16th century Newtown Castle. Offers six twin/double bedrooms for students, residents and guests. Two bedrooms are en suite and four share two large bathrooms. Fully equipped kitchen, shared communal spaces, WiFi throughout, and laundry facilities available. Located directly on campus, steps away from studios and other facilities.
