About
Overview
Springfield Regional Arts Council's (SRAC) dedication to local creators and art is paramount to everything we do. We understand that when arts and culture thrive, the community at large thrives too. Arts advocacy is a cornerstone of our organization, and each of our staff, board members and volunteers believes in the power of the arts and culture to communicate and express our viewpoints, transform our community and create a legacy to pass on to future generations.
How to Get Involved
- Missouri Arts Advocacy Week - Celebrate arts advocacy annually in partnership with Missouri Citizens for the Arts and arts advocates across the state, with special focus during the Missouri Legislature's budget season.
- Arts & Culture Grants - Grant funding enables nonprofit arts and cultural organizations to pursue art initiatives and offer arts-related activities.
- Events - Connect with local artists, buy original art and stay engaged with the arts community at events like $100 & Under Art Market, Artsfest, Bad Art by Good People, First Friday Art Walk, and Ozzie Awards.
- Committees - Join SRAC committees composed of dedicated members who help execute initiatives and explore new ways to connect the community with the arts.
