About the Residency
Organized in partnership with the Conseil des Arts et des Lettres du Québec (CALQ) and the government of Upper Austria, this exchange residency aims to generate links between the Quebec and Austrian arts communities. The program offers a two-month stay at Fonderie Darling in Montreal for artists from Upper Austria, and a two-month stay in Upper Austria for Quebec artists.
Support and Activities
During their residency, artists benefit from personalized support to help them integrate, develop professional ties, and discover the local milieu. The Fonderie Darling team organizes professional meetings, cultural outings, studio visits, creative workshops, and educational activities according to the artist's wishes. Artists also benefit from proximity to local artists at the ateliers montréalais for cultural and artistic immersion.

Partnership
The residency is carried out in partnership with CALQ, the government of Upper Austria (Kunstsammlung des Landes Oberösterreich), the International Artist Residency of the City of Linz / Salzamt, and the Quebec Government Office in Berlin.
