Overview
Concerts in the Park is a free, family-friendly concert series presented by the Arts Council of Greater Kalamazoo with support from the Irving S. Gilmore Foundation and the City of Kalamazoo. This concert features the Otsego Jazz Ensemble, an 18-piece group that has been performing since 1986.
Concert Details
The Otsego Jazz Ensemble features a high-powered mix of jazz, blues, rock, pop, Latin, and standards. The ensemble performs classic big band charts by Stan Kenton, Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Sammy Nestico, and Glenn Miller, as well as recent arrangements by Gordon Goodwin, Bob Curnow, Bob Florence, and Bob Mintzer.
