Overview
Beirut Art Center invites artists and creative practitioners from different disciplines to engage in durational residencies supporting research, development, and artistic practice in Lebanon and the region. Artists are encouraged to propose ways to actively engage with the public throughout their residencies, allowing them to share their creative process, influences, and ideas while creating opportunities for meaningful debates and conversations.
Residency Types
- Artist and musician-focused residencies
- Graphic designer residencies (six-month, offered twice yearly) - designers re-design and interpret BAC's institutional identity
- Year-long rooftop garden residency focused on mutual aid, exchange, and community support, welcoming practitioners in carpentry, gardening, and related disciplines
