December is a quiet month on the island with only 26 residents remaining. The residency is hosted by Leah Heming, a nature guide and artist with extensive experience in gallery, publishing, and animation.
Open to artists, writers, musicians, botanists, scientists, and anyone working within the themes of nature who have a creative project that needs nurturing. Based anywhere in the world. Any stage of career. Inspired by nature.
Weekly art day excursions around the island, weekly group creative brainstorm and check-in sessions, regular hikes, opportunities for art in the outdoors, and tailor-made creative support from your host Leah Heming. Weekly show-and-tell sessions of work in progress and optional final presentations to other residents.

€1250 for 22 days/nights stay. This is an artist-led residency with no current funding. Artists are welcome to seek external funding and the organizer will provide documentation needed for applications. The fee includes weekly guided excursions and regular hikes.
