About the Residency Program

Overview

LKV offers residency programs for professional artists in crafts, visual arts, dance, music, performing arts, film, literature, as well as curators and critics. Residents gain access to shared workshops, a private 25 sqm apartment, and Trondheim's active art and cultural community.

Programs

• Crafts & Visual Art: For professional crafts & visual artists from around the world.
• Other Artistic Practices: For professional artists working in dance, music, performing arts, film, and literature, as well as curators, in collaboration with other local actors.
• Critics in Residence: For critics, in collaboration with ArtScene Trondheim.

Location

LKV is located in Lademoen, a vibrant area just a short distance from Trondheim city center.

Residency Apartment Amenities

• Private 25 sqm apartment with 120 cm bed and bedding
• Kitchen with refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, oven, and French press
• Bathroom with towels and hand towels
• Storage room available if needed
• Laundry room available for all residency artists
• WiFi available in all apartments
• Access to shared workshops

Events

Lunch with guest artists is an informal event series where guest artists at LKV present their artistry. Presentations are open to everyone and provide insight into the processes behind the art developed at LKV. Bring your lunch; coffee and tea provided.
