Overview
As part of Line 3 of the International Cultural Portfolio: Colombia in the World – Phase 2, the Ministry of Culture, through R.A.R.O. Buenos Aires, establishes a connection route between Colombia and cultural settings in Argentina to strengthen processes of creation, education, research, circulation, and exchange.
Program Focus
The residency is designed as an interdisciplinary research and creation process exploring the power of artistic practices as devices for living memory and symbolic reparation in building a Culture of Peace.
Eligibility
- Colombian nationality
- Artists, cultural or social managers, and human rights defenders
- Demonstrated experience developing at least three (3) projects focused on peacebuilding using artistic and cultural practices as tools for living memory, symbolic reparation, and strengthening the social fabric
Grant Components
- International round-trip airfare
- Accommodation in a central area of Buenos Aires
- International medical insurance
- Curatorial support, mentorship, and workshops within the R.A.R.O. Network
