About

Overview

The Columbus Arts Festival invites visual artists to exhibit along the beautiful downtown riverfront. Artists are selected through a blind jury process. The festival includes three application categories: Juried Artists, Emerging Festival Artists, and Big Local Artists.

  • Jury: January 22-24, 2027

Juried Artists

Submit four digital images of your work and one image of your booth display through ZAPPlication. Top-scoring artists will be invited to exhibit.

Emerging Festival Artist Program

  • Workshop 1: March 20, 2027, 9 a.m.–Noon
  • Workshop 2: May 1, 2027, 9 a.m.–Noon

Big Local Arts Village (2027)

  • Applications Open: February 16, 2027
  • Applications Close: March 31, 2027
  • Notification: April 2027 (date not specified)
  • Options: Onsite Gallery Wall, Table Booth, or Demonstration Artist (10×10 space)

Awards

Artists have the opportunity to be one of 11 award winners receiving a combined total of $20,000 in cash awards.

Application Requirements

Submit through ZAPPlication. Big Local Artists Village offers gallery wall sales (no artist presence required), table booth staffing, or demonstration spaces.
