General Information17th Annual National Juried Art ExhibitionSAGE Community Arts | Sheridan, WyomingExhibition Dates: January 19 – March 6, 2027SAGE Community Arts invites artists from across the United States to submit their work for our 17th Annual National Juried Art Exhibition, held in historic downtown Sheridan, Wyoming. This year's exhibition embraces an open theme, inviting artists to submit the work they feel most strongly represents their artistic vision, creativity, and individual voice.Juror Seth Tummins encourages artists to submit the work they feel best about sharing, without the limitations of a predetermined theme. Rather than asking artists to create within a specific concept, the exhibition will take shape through the works selected, allowing unexpected connections, conversations, and themes to emerge. With $3,150 in cash awards, this exhibition celebrates artistic excellence and the diverse perspectives of artists working across a wide range of mediums.JUROR | Seth Tummins | McEwen, TNThe premise of this work is to serve as an introduction to one another, to our lands, and to our special existence. It is also intended to foster the collecting of imagery as pieces of heritage worthy of passing on to posterity.Homes will change, fields will change, towns will change, and these facts give cause to pass on something tangible so that others, future families and various interested parties, may know more fully that we lived and thought of them enough to leave something of worth.May you find that what unfolds is more than a record, though it is at least that.May you find that it is, in fact, the expression of a deeply resonating chordthat wishes for others to awaken to its resonanceand join in the kind of life that can only grow from gratitude.ELIGIBILITY & SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTSAll submitted artwork must be original, created within the past five years, and available for sale.Artwork previously accepted into a SAGE Juried Exhibition is not eligible for resubmission.
