The 39th Annual Downtown Sarasota Festival of the Arts is a juried outdoor art festival featuring over 200 award-winning artists across Main Street in downtown Sarasota. The festival is free and open to the public, covering more than five city blocks. Howard Alan Events has been producing juried street art festivals for over 40 years.

  • Application deadline: February 10, 2027
  • Festival dates: February 13–14, 2027
  • Show hours: Saturday & Sunday, 10am–5pm
  • Set-up: Saturday

The festival takes place on Main Street from Orange Avenue heading east to Links Avenue in downtown Sarasota. Booth spaces are 10x10 (limited 10x20 spaces available if double booth image is submitted and approved). Parking is available daytime and overnight near the show site.

A minimum of 3 images are required. Applications are juried in order of date received. Early application is recommended, as the show and/or categories may reach maximum allotment and close, making later applicants eligible for the waitlist only.

  • Non-refundable Jury Fee: $35
  • Booth fee upon acceptance: $625 (paid directly to Howard Alan Events upon invitation)

Upon receiving an invitation to participate, artists must submit the deposit/booth fee immediately to secure their space. Accepting on Zapp does not secure space; invitation emails will contain payment instructions. Invitation emails may go to spam folders. Show dates and information are subject to change and will be announced immediately.
