Artists are invited to apply for a large format printmaking residency of 2 weeks to 6 months to develop projects using various printmaking techniques and access specialized equipment and facilities.
Overview
Aviário Studio offers large format printmaking residencies of 2 weeks to 6 months. Artists can develop projects using a wide range of techniques, from relief to intaglio, screen printing, transfer, monotype, and others. The residency provides technical conditions, time, and space for experimentation, research, or consolidation of new bodies of work, while fostering connection and knowledge exchange between artists from different backgrounds.
Residency Options
Artists choose from Self-directed Residency, Guided Art Residency, or Assisted Production Residency.

Eligibility
Open to artists based anywhere in the world at any stage of career (emerging, mid-career, established). Must be over 21 years old at time of arrival. Spouses/partners allowed for full stay (non-collaborators). May apply as team or individually.

Fee Details
Residency fee includes accommodation in a shared house, studio access during opening hours (Monday–Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.), access to workshops and equipment according to participant experience, and project discussion. Artists must cover residency fee, travel, materials, and food.
