Master Copies is the fourth edition of the free Escuela de Artes y Oficios (EAO) program exploring the intersection of art, craft, and the transmission of knowledge. The program takes the notions of model and copy to rethink the ways knowledge is transmitted in artistic education. The chosen venue is the Museo de La Cárcova, a historic Argentine institution specialized in sculptural casts.

  • Application deadline: May 22, 2026
  • Virtual classes: Mondays, August–November 2026
  • Intensive in-person days: November 18–22, 2026
  • Open to artists, craftspeople, and practitioners of all disciplines
  • Age 18 and over

The program runs in hybrid format: three months of virtual classes every Monday from August through November, plus five intensive in-person days from November 18 to 22.

The faculty will be made up of Heidi Jalkh, Luis Terán, and Andrei Fernández.

The program is free of charge with prior selection. It is co-produced with Fundación Medifé, with artistic coordination by Lorena Fernández and direction by Julieta Gómez Blumencwejg.
