During Berlin Art Week 2026, Moritz Frei and Marian Luft, founders of berlinartfilms, will launch the 1st Kreuzberg Art Film Festival—a mobile exhibition in the form of a Moving Image Sculpture that transforms streets and public squares across Kreuzberg into temporary venues for contemporary video art as it travels through the neighborhood.

  • Launch: 23 July 2026

Art should make people pause, spark conversations, and encourage them to see the familiar in new ways. Marian Luft and Moritz Frei believe art can create new situations where people stop, talk to one another, or suddenly see a familiar place differently. They are less interested in individual artworks than in the moment when these interactions occur.
