Naples Art Institute's Art in the Park 2027 (Winter)

Overview

Naples Art Institute presents Art in the Park 2027 (Winter), a juried outdoor art fair at Cambier Park. Participating artists receive complimentary access to Naples Art Institute museum exhibitions.

• January 8, 2027: Deadline for booth purchase
• February 6, 2027: Art in the Park invitational event

Eligibility & Conditions

All artwork must be original, designed and executed by the accepted artist. Accepted artists must be present in their booths during all show days and hours; no substitutes allowed. Work displayed and sold must be consistent with images submitted in the application. Booths are for individual artists only and cannot be shared.

Collaborating Artists

Artists working together from creative planning through execution may apply as a single exhibitor if the collaboration is artistic (not business-related, such as framing or accounting). Both collaborating artists must be identified on the application with clearly defined efforts in the artist statement, and both must be present during all show hours. Acceptance is at Naples Art Institute's discretion.

Restrictions

No work solely created by apprentices or employees. Commercial agents, dealers, manufacturers, or buy/sell vendors are prohibited. Artwork created from commercially available molds, patterns, kits, mass production methods, or ready-made items with embellishments is not permitted. Copies of masters, advertisements, widely circulated photographs, or registered trademarks are prohibited. No posters, laser prints, t-shirts, postcards, calendars, cards, or promotional items.

Art Categories Accepted

• Ceramics: Original shaped and fired clay (earthenware, porcelain, stoneware, terracotta); no machine-made or mass-produced work
• Digital Art: Signed, original work created with digital technology, printed with archival materials
• Fiber/Wearable: Non-wearable fiber art (basketry, batik, weaving, tapestry, papermaking) or original clothing/leather goods
• Furniture: Original functional work in any material
• Glass: Original blown, fused, or stained glass
• Drawing/Printmaking/Graphics: Two-dimensional drawings in graphite, ink, charcoal, pastels, and other media; or printmaking via transfer process
• Jewelry: Precious (gold, sterling silver, precious stones) or Semi-Precious (costume, non-precious metals, glass, clay, fiber, wood, leather, polymer clay)
• Metal: Original metalwork without production studio use
• Mixed Media 2D: Collage or handmade paper; multiple media with relief depth less than 1/8 inch
• Mixed Media 3D: Original non-functional work combining multiple materials or media exceeding 1/8-inch depth
• Painting: Oil, acrylic, egg tempera, casein, or alkyd on canvas; or watercolor on paper
• Photography: Signed prints from artist's original negatives or digital files processed by the artist
• Sculpture: Original three-dimensional work in stone or other hard materials
• Wood: Original hand-tooled, machine worked, built-up, turned, or carved work
