We work with art galleries, art fairs, publishers, museums, universities, and art institutions to offer members exclusive access to exhibition opportunities, events, and affordable business education. We advocate for artists' rights, including fair pay, intellectual property protection, and essential business support.
We champion artists at all stages of their careers, from new and emerging to established. Members' artistic disciplines mainly include painting, drawing, sculpting, photography, printmaking, ceramics, and mixed media. We are an inclusive arts membership organization open to visual artists across the UK and internationally.
At VAA, we believe in Freedom (helping artists build sustainable careers and earn a fair income), Aspiration (encouraging growth and the pursuit of dreams), and Creativity (championing original artistic expression).
