The Creative Residency at Bloedel Reserve offers professional and emerging artists, composers, writers, botanists, landscape architects, researchers, and others a three-week stay at a 140-acre internationally renowned public garden and forest preserve celebrating human connection to nature.

Creative Residents are housed in a small home off the main paths, hidden in the woods. The home is furnished with bed and bath linens, shampoo, and other essentials. The kitchen is stocked with cookware, spices, and tea. Wi-Fi and laundry facilities are available. An electric piano and smart car are available for Residents' use. Residents stay one at a time with no overlap and are responsible for their own meals.

At present, there is no dedicated studio space on the grounds. Residents utilize the building as their studio.

In 2027, Domestic Residents will receive a $1,000 stipend in support of their Residency. International Residents may submit up to $1,000 of expenses for reimbursement.

Open to professional and emerging artists, composers, writers, botanists, landscape architects, researchers, and others. Residents must be 21 years or older.
