Overview

The Downtown Sarasota Fine Art and Craft Fair spans over five city blocks on Main Street in Downtown Sarasota, featuring artists, crafters, and a craft/green market area. Outdoor, free public admission, no gate fee.

  • Submission deadline: March 17, 2027
  • Event dates: March 20-21, 2027
  • Show hours: Saturday & Sunday, 10am-5pm
  • Set-up: Saturday

Location & Space

  • Venue: Main Street from Orange Avenue to Links Avenue, Downtown Sarasota, Florida
  • Spaces: 10x10 (10x20 are limited and require double booth image to be submitted and approved)
  • Parking: Daytime and overnight available near show site

Media

The fair accepts the following mediums: clay, digital, fiber, glass, jewelry, mixed media, painting, photography, printmaking/drawing, sculpture, wood, resin, and craft section. Crafters should select 'craft section' under medium category to apply.

Fees

  • Jury fee: $35 (non-refundable)
  • Booth fee: $525 (due upon invitation; paid directly to Howard Alan Events, not through Zapp)

Application Requirements

Minimum 3 images required to apply. Howard Alan Events uses an ongoing jury process and applications are juried in order of date received. Applicants are encouraged to apply early, as the show and/or categories may meet maximum allotment and close; thereafter, applicants will be applying for the wait list only.

How to Enter

Upon receiving an invitation to participate, submit the deposit/booth fee immediately to secure your space. Simply accepting on Zapp will not secure your space. Your invitation email will contain payment instructions and may go to your spam folder; also check your Zapp show status.
