Overview
Aviário Studio Ceramics Residency provides technical conditions, time, and space to develop ideas and try new approaches in ceramics. The program is customized according to participating artists' goals regarding duration, outcome, and focus. It can be a moment of transition focused on experimentation and learning new techniques, or a point of consolidation for producing a new body of work. Ceramics residencies must be at least 3 weeks.

- Open to artists worldwide, any career stage
- Must be over 21 years old at time of arrival
- Spouses/partners allowed for full stay as non-collaborators (non-applying)
- Can apply individually or as a team (each member must apply and be accepted individually)
Residency Details
- Duration: 2 weeks - 6 months
- Languages: English, French, Portuguese
- Minimum ceramics residency: 3 weeks
Fees
- Application fee: Free
- Residency fee (includes accommodation in shared house, studio access Mon.-Fri. 9am-6pm, workshop/equipment access): 2 weeks €600 | 3 weeks €900 | 4 weeks €1,200 | 5 weeks €1,500 | 6 weeks €1,800
- Studio support (training/assistance): €20 per hour
- Materials and meals not included; precise quotation provided after application
- Artists must cover residency fee, travel, materials, and food
