Tiny Spaces Deep Connections invites artists from EU and Creative Europe countries to participate in 2026 sustainable residencies. The program reimagines mobility and creative work through a sustainable lens, emphasizing slow travel, site-specific practice, and community-engaged artistic processes.

Eligibility
Individual artists and creatives working in any medium—visual arts, text, mixed media, sound, audiovisual, digital practices, performance, design, and more. Applicants must be residents of EU or Creative Europe countries and demonstrate dedication to sustainable and context-responsive methods.
Program Features
Air travel is excluded; participants travel slowly to their residency site following curated routes that include visits to art spaces within the Trans Europe Halles network. Each studio is a recycled or repurposed environment. Mentorship and opportunities to connect with local communities and fellow residents are provided.
Output and Exhibition
Artwork created throughout travels and residencies will be archived on the project's digital platform and later curated for exhibition during the August 2026 symposium in Oulu.
