Get matched →The Desert Art Festival is a three-day outdoor celebration of the visual arts held President's Weekend at The River in Rancho Mirage, CA. The event features approximately 100 exhibitors displaying original fine art and fine craft. The festival attracts patronage from Canada, the Eastern States, and California.
Open to all artists creating fine art and fine craft in all mediums.
Submit a minimum of 4 images of your work. Include information on process, materials, and dimensions for each image, along with an artist information statement.
A blinded jury comprised of art professionals will evaluate submissions based on artistic excellence. Selected artists receive invitations to exhibit. High-scoring artists not initially invited are placed on a waitlist and offered exhibition opportunities if invited artists decline.
Application fee is $25. Prior-day setup and overnight security are provided. Overnight parking is available at the venue. Admission and parking are free to the public.
Accepted artists must remit booth fees by Friday, December 18, 2026. Refunds are at the committee's discretion before January 15, 2027; no credits or refunds after that date.
