The Lavender Arts & Crafts Festival at Barrington Hall is a juried fine arts and handmade craft market held on the historic grounds of Barrington Hall in Roswell, Georgia. The festival features approximately 100 carefully selected artists and makers presenting original works in painting, photography, pottery, jewelry, fiber arts, wood, glass, metal, garden art, and specialty handmade items. The outdoor festival is set beneath shaded lawns and gardens in Historic Roswell and is known for attracting a strong buying audience of homeowners, gift shoppers, and art collectors.

  • Load-in: June 5, 2027, 8:00 AM–9:00 AM (no trailers; be prepared to dolly if needed)
  • Festival hours: Saturday 10:00 AM–5:00 PM
  • 2-D Mixed Media (collage, papermaking, encaustic, pen and ink, paint, pencil, watercolor, photography)
  • 3-D Mixed Media (mosaic, papier mâché, clay, fiber, glass, metal, wood, or other 3-dimensional objects)
  • Ceramics (original shaped and fired clay including earthenware, porcelain, and raku)
  • Digital Art (two-dimensional works manipulated using computer programs)
  • Drawing & Printmaking (pen, pencil, charcoal, pastels, chalk, pulled plates, linoleum prints, etching, engraving, silkscreen, lithography—all prints must be signed and numbered)
  • Fiber (basketry, batik, weaving, papermaking, knitting, quilting; embellishment of manufactured materials not permitted)
  • Glass (blown, fused, stained, cast, molded; embellishment of manufactured materials not permitted)
  • Handicraft (handmade items from manufactured, recycled, or repurposed materials; complete description required)
  • Jewelry (crafted from metal, glass, stone, clay, or other materials; at least 50% of organic materials must be produced by the artist; commercial molds/casts not permitted)
  • Metal (functional and non-sculptural works)
  • Painting (oils, acrylics, watercolors, tempera suitable for hanging)
  • Photography (prints, transparencies, or digital images from original negatives or digital camera, processed by the artist)
  • Sculpture (three-dimensional work in any medium)
  • Wood & Furniture (built, turned, carved, or tooled; embellished manufactured wood items not permitted)
  • T-shirts and commercial clothing
  • Posters
  • Manufactured toys
  • Commercially manufactured or reproduced items (resale)
  • Jewelry made from more than 50% manufactured components
  • Any item employing commercially available molds or patterns

Minimum 4 images required to apply. Late applications may be accepted at the discretion of the Director and included on the wait list.

Non-refundable administrative processing fee: $30. There will be no rain date and fees will not be refunded in case of inclement weather.

A waitlist will be maintained. Selected wait-listed artists may be contacted when the wait list is released one day prior to the event date. Artists who have not checked in and/or called the Festival Emergency Number by Saturday at 9:00 AM will be considered a no-show; no-show artists are not eligible for refunds and assigned space will be forfeited to a wait-list artist.

Artists are responsible for collecting and reporting sales taxes. The current sales tax rate for this event is 8% (Georgia 4%, Fulton County 3%, City of Roswell 1%). All AFFPS Festival fees support the Georgia Foundation for Public Spaces, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to building a stronger arts community and providing scholarships for artists.
