Overview
Sandy Springs Artsapalooza is a two-day outdoor arts festival held annually in Sandy Springs, north of Atlanta. The event features approximately 100 juried artists and craftspeople from across the Southeast, showcasing original, handmade work. The festival is free to attend and includes live music, food vendors, children's art activities, and interactive experiences. A signature tradition is its Easter celebration with over 10,000 Easter eggs distributed.

Eligibility & Requirements
Artists must create original, handmade work. All artwork must be created and presented by the artists themselves. Minimum 4 images required to apply.
Media & Categories
- 2-D Mixed Media: collage, papermaking, encaustic, pen and ink, paint, pencil, watercolor, or photography suitable for wall mounting
- 3-D Mixed Media: mosaic, papier mache, clay, fiber, glass, metal, wood, or other 3-dimensional objects
- Ceramics: original shaped and fired clay including earthenware, porcelain, and raku
- Digital Art: two-dimensional works manipulated by the artist using computer software
- Drawing & Printmaking: pen, pencil, charcoal, pastel, chalk, or printmaking (pulled plates, linoleum, etching, engraving, silkscreen, lithography); all prints must be signed and numbered
- Fiber: basketry, batik, weaving, papermaking, knitting, quilting; no embellishment of manufactured materials
- Glass: blown, fused, stained, cast, or molded glass; no embellishment of manufactured materials
- Handicraft: handmade items from manufactured, recycled, or repurposed materials; complete description required
- Jewelry: crafted from metal, glass, stone, clay, or other materials; no commercial molds or casts; at least 50% of organic materials must be artist-produced
- Metal: functional and non-sculptural works
- Painting: oils, acrylics, watercolors, and tempera suitable for hanging
- Photography: prints, transparencies, or digital images from the artist's original negative or digital camera, processed by the artist
- Sculpture: three-dimensional work in any individual medium
- Wood & Furniture: original works built, turned, carved, or tooled; no embellished manufactured wood items

- Commercially manufactured or reproduced items (resale)
- Jewelry made from more than 50% manufactured components
- Any item using commercially available molds or patterns
- Buy-sell items (items not made by the artist)
Fees
- Non-refundable administrative processing fee: $30
Waitlist & No-Show Policy
A waitlist will be maintained. Selected wait-listed artists may be contacted when the waitlist is released prior to the event. Artists who have not checked in and/or called the Festival Emergency Number by Saturday at 8:00 AM will be considered a no-show and forfeit their space to a waitlist artist. No refunds are issued for no-shows.
