Overview
Art Studio Clearance Sale is presented by Ohio Designer Craftsmen, a nonprofit dedicated to promoting fine craft for over 50 years. Clear out your studio and sell pieces that can't find a home—including slightly flawed or discontinued work, firing mishaps, or items you simply need to move.
Key Dates
- Submission deadline: December 13, 2026
- Artist notification: December 17, 2026
- Artist set-up: Friday, February 5, 2027, 11 AM–7 PM
- Show dates: Saturday, February 6, 2027, 10 AM–5 PM and Sunday, February 7, 2027, 10 AM–4 PM
Eligibility & Categories
Open to all artists. If accepted, ODC membership is required and must be paid after acceptance (annual membership $35 individual, $45 joint; non-refundable). Gourmet Marketplace exhibitors (pre-packaged food, bath/body, candles, pet products) are NOT required to be ODC members. All items sold must be made by your small business.
Application
- Application fee: $35
- Submit minimum 4 images
- Jury procedure: Images scored by fine craft/art experts; applicants not identified to jurors
- Spaces limited per category; top scorers in each medium accepted; up to 10% discretionary spaces for new artists and balance
Booth & Amenities
- Drive-in load-in/load-out steps from your booth
- Full booth setup NOT required; electricity optional
- 24-hour security Friday–Sunday
- Experienced staff and booth-sitting volunteers available
- Low booth fees
- Centrally located at Ohio Expo Center, Lausche Building
- Free coffee/tea on set-up day
- Fully stocked ATM on-site
