Since 2014, AMOCA has hosted an annual juried exhibition showcasing high school students studying the ceramic arts. Starting with the 2026 exhibition, AMOCA introduced its first hybrid exhibition in over 6 years, featuring both a virtual showcase and in-person display of category winners.

Entrants must be currently enrolled in high school in the United States.

  • Up to 2 different artworks per application, with up to 2 images per piece
  • Work must be at least 60% ceramic
  • Max height of 27″
  • Works may be made using air dry clay, oven-baked clay, or claymation video
  • Teachers may submit on behalf of a student but must provide student contact information; each application requires a unique email address

All applications must be submitted through SlideRoom during the month of March. Teachers may submit on a student's behalf but must provide the student's contact information.

Applications are free.

Selected winners' works will be on display in person at the American Museum of Ceramic Art in Summer 2026. A virtual gallery of the exhibition is available online.
