Overview
This is the third edition of a symposium dedicated to the practice of exhibiting art, architecture, and design in Slovenia. The symposium examines exhibition history, institutional frameworks, and the art system in Slovenia within the broader Central-European context from the 19th century to today.
Presentation Topics
We welcome submissions on group and monographic exhibitions of Slovenian art both in Slovenia and internationally; exhibition complexes and practices; various organizational settings for exhibitions; reception and impact of exhibitions; exhibitions in non-visual-arts formats; cultural-political and institutional frameworks; and exhibitions as cultural diplomacy. Interdisciplinary and comparative approaches are encouraged.

Send an abstract (up to 150 words) and CV (up to 70 words). Presentations are up to 20 minutes long. Do not submit presentations of your own artistic or curatorial exhibition projects.

Language
Participants from outside Slovenia may present in English, Serbian, Croatian, or Bosnian. Presentations in Slovene will not be simultaneously translated into English.
