Overview
Odie Lap Chun Chow will undertake a residency working with ceramics and photography to reflect on how urban spaces construct and alter identity. He combines images of urban landscapes with plaster mould making to explore the interaction between humans and their built environment. During the residency, he will continue research from local material exploration and plaster mould practice toward the physical and mental spaces of people within urban landscapes.

PART International Art Residency Austria is a programme on behalf of the Federal Ministry for Housing, Arts, Culture, Media and Sport. Refurbished to meet modern ecological standards between 2023 and 2025 with funding from the EU Recovery and Resilience Facility and the Austrian Federal Government, the area houses 13 studios for local artists and six international residence studios and THE HALL.
