Overview
Stone Canoe is an annual journal of arts and ideas published by The YMCA's Downtown Writers Center at the Arts Branch of the YMCA of Greater Syracuse. It showcases the work of diverse emerging and well-established artists and writers who are current or past residents of Upstate New York.
Eligibility
Open to current or former residents of Upstate New York (outside of New York City and Long Island). Your bio note must include information documenting your current or past residency in the region.

Submission Period
Submissions are accepted from April 1 through July–September each year for publication the following spring.
