Overview
Stone Canoe is an annual journal of arts and ideas from Upstate New York, published by The YMCA's Downtown Writers Center at the Arts Branch of the YMCA of Greater Syracuse. The publication showcases the work of emerging and well-established artists and writers who are current or past residents of Upstate New York, promoting awareness of the cultural and intellectual richness of the region.
Eligibility
Only current or former residents of Upstate New York are eligible. For Stone Canoe, this is defined as those portions of the state outside of New York City and Long Island. Your bio note must include information documenting your current or past residency in the region.
