Get matched →Arts District Liberty Station (ADLS) has supported tenant-driven initiatives since 2019 through dedicated funding opportunities. These funds are offered as Micro Grants to help individual tenant organizations bring bold ideas to life, as well as Collaborative Grants that encourage two or more tenants to come together on a shared project. Selected projects receive funding to bring new ideas, performances, workshops, and exhibitions to life across the campus.
Micro Grants provide tenants with the peace of mind often needed to plan and host events while running a business. Selected projects have included funds for Grand Openings, First Friday Activations, Dance Movement Labs, Art Workshops, Summer Camp Scholarships, Artist Talks, Improv Workshop Series, Holiday Celebrations, and more.
Tenants are encouraged to collaborate and build partnerships that spark creative, innovative, and experiential projects, strengthening connections across Liberty Station. Collaborative initiatives highlight the diversity of the Arts District community while strengthening partnerships between artists, organizations, and audiences. Projects have explored themes such as cultural identity, community healing, interdisciplinary collaboration, youth education, and cross-border artistic exchange.
