Nordic Culture Point offers children and young people experiences and involvement in Nordic culture through library visits, workshops, storytelling events, and educational programs.
Current Programmes
- The Nordic bookworm: Educational support material for picture books from Nordic countries, free of charge, in all Nordic languages; available at bokslukaren.org
- Digital reading sessions featuring Annika Sandelin reading poems from 'Råttan Bettan och masken Baudelaire' in Swedish and Finnish (approximately 8 minutes)
- Pedagogical materials available for exhibitions: I grevens tid; Djur som ingen sett utom vi (for ages 3–6 and 7–12)
Grant Programmes
- Norden 0–30: Support program for young people aged 0–30 in the Nordic region with creative project ideas; supports projects in culture, social issues, and/or politics; maximum award: 50,000 euro
- Volt: Culture and language program for children and young people up to age 25; supports projects that encourage interest in art, culture, and language in other Nordic countries and regions
