About
About Application Deadlines
Applications must be submitted by 15:59 Finnish time on the last application date using the electronic application system. Nordic Culture Point will not accept late applications. If you live in another time zone, please check the time that applies to you.
Multiple Applications
All project costs should be collated into one application to Nordic Culture Point. You can apply for funding from other pan-Nordic institutions for the same project, but the total applied amount from Nordic Culture Point and other Nordic organisations may not exceed 85% of the budget.
Funding Duration
Maximum duration is typically the remainder of the year in which you are granted funding plus the two subsequent calendar years, though some programmes may limit this to a shorter period.
Eligibility
Your current country of residence is considered, not your nationality. The Faroe Islands, Greenland, and Åland count as Nordic in this context.
Application Languages
For the Culture and Art Programme, Norden 0–30 Programme, and Volt, forms are available in Swedish and English, but applications can also be completed in Danish, Norwegian, Finnish, Icelandic, Faeroese, or Greenlandic. For the Nordic-Baltic Mobility Programme for Culture, forms are in English only and applications must be submitted in English.
Networking Support
Nordic Culture Point offers two networking platforms: a Facebook group aimed at professionals in art and culture in Nordic and Baltic countries, and a Discord server (Nordic Culture Point Network) where you can introduce yourself or find partners for specific funding programmes.
Horizontal Perspectives
Applicants are asked about gender equality, sustainability, and the inclusion of children and young people. These are horizontal perspectives part of the Nordic Council of Ministers' strategy and are measured for inclusion in Nordic and Baltic cooperation projects, though not formally considered as assessment criteria.
State Aid Rules
The funding programmes are covered by EU/EEA rules on state aid (de minimis aid). The total amount of state aid per recipient must not exceed EUR 300,000 over a period of three years.
