QIANKUN 2027 is an international open call for artistic projects across disciplines, organized by Association Esthétique de l'Est (EDE). The exhibition explores gender, identity, body, and the diversity of living beings through the philosophical lens of Yin and Yang from the I Ching, examining contemporary questions of feminism, gender identity, LGBTQIA+ experience, masculinity, migration, and belonging.

Open to international artists and creators 18 years or older, with no restrictions on nationality, place of residence, artistic training, or level of experience. Open to professional artists, students, recent graduates, independent creators, interdisciplinary researchers, designers, photographers, video creators, performance and dance artists, and cultural practitioners. Both individual artists and artistic collectives may apply.

No application fee during the first selection phase. After selection, costs specific to each artist's work (international transport, insurance, customs procedures, supervision, special technical equipment, complex installations) may be covered case-by-case, with exact terms communicated to selected artists before any payment is required.

Selected artists receive presentation of work(s) in a public cultural space in central Paris, photographic and visual documentation, invitation to the opening event, certificate of participation, commemorative item, media communication in France and abroad, participation in artist meetings and public guided tours, cultural exchanges and discussions, opportunities for international networking with artists and institutions, and possible future collaborations (not guaranteed).

Relevance to the exhibition theme, coherence and autonomy of artistic approach, depth of artistic concept and research, originality, intercultural interest and potential for public discussion, technical feasibility within the exhibition space, and overall balance across mediums and cultural backgrounds.
