Programs & Locations

  • YUI-PORT (Niigata City): Long-term (up to 90 days) and short-term (up to 30 days) programs held alternately each season; two artists invited per program.
  • Center AiR (Kanuma, Tochigi): Artist-run alternative space for experimental expression; no financial support but research and organizational support provided.
  • MOYA Creative Residence (Kaneyama, Yamagata): Rural residency program.
  • PARADISE AIR: Self-funded artist residency program.
  • Sado Island International Artist Residency (Niigata): For artists to stay and produce on Japan's largest island in the Sea of Japan.
  • KAGANHOTEL (Kyoto): Supports artist and creator residencies with shared housing, studio, and gallery functions.
