The Village Arts Festival is a juried arts festival presented by the Village Fine Arts Association (VFAA) and the Suzanne Haskew Arts Center (SHAC). Held in the heart of downtown Milford's newly renovated Central Park, this one-day event celebrates exceptional handmade artwork and vendor products while highlighting the village's historic charm, walkability, and vibrant cultural scene.
Designed as an artist-centered event, the Village Arts Festival prioritizes high-quality, original artwork and meaningful interactions between artists and patrons. While complementary activities may be present, artists and their work remain the focal point of the day.
Central Park has been reimagined as a true community gathering space, offering a picturesque setting along the Huron River. Its scenic landscape, central downtown location, and proximity to local shops, restaurants, and year-round programming make it an ideal backdrop for an arts-focused event.
Public Event Hours: 10:00 AM – 7:00 PM
Artist Setup: 7:00 AM – 9:30 AM
Artist Teardown: 7:30 PM – 10:00 PM
Event sponsors will provide volunteers to assist artists with transporting supplies to their booths.
Application Fee: $25.
