About
Overview
The Namingha Institute, named for the Namingha family and supported in part by the Philip M. Smith Trust, is an annual two-week artist residency providing selected artists with a challenging and stimulating environment to explore their artistic interests on the Museum of Northern Arizona campus.
Residency Details
Throughout the residency, students participate in classes with master artists on the MNA campus, tour the Easton Collection Center, and draw inspiration from the beauty and diversity of the Colorado Plateau. Residents stay in rustic cabins near the studio.
Award & Support
Selected artists receive a $1,500 stipend.
Eligibility
Open to early-career artists age 18 or older.
