Overview
Ranked among America's Top 100 Art Shows twelve times, the Orchard Lake Fine Art Show by Hot Works returns to West Bloomfield, MI on July 24 & 25, 2027. This juried show features original, handmade artwork in all mediums and is promoted through extensive TV, radio, print, and digital marketing to attract art-buying patrons.

- Set up: Friday, July 23, 8:30am–6pm
- Event Hours: Saturday, July 24, 10am–6pm; Sunday, July 25, 10am–5pm
- Tear down: Sunday, July 25, by 9pm
Eligibility & Requirements
Only artists who create their own work may apply. Submit three images of your most compelling work and one image of your booth setup as it will appear at the show.
Jury & Selection
A panel of experienced art professionals carefully juries each Hot Works show. Selection criteria include originality, technique, execution, and booth presentation. After the jury process, you will be notified of acceptance, rejection, or waitlist status. All jury decisions are final.
Application & Fees
- Early Jury and Application Fee: $35
- Booth Fee (upon acceptance): $475
- Optional Rentals: Light Dome tent rentals $350; Pro-Panel walls $525 (only available with tent rental, includes setup and teardown)
- Booth fees due 60 days prior to the event
Location & Parking
The show is located at 100% outdoors on Powers & Daly Roads, South of Maple; West of Orchard Lake Road, West Bloomfield, MI (next to Bloomfield Hills). Artists have convenient nearby parking; patrons enjoy free close-by parking behind the West Bloomfield Medical Center. The location is just 45 minutes from Ann Arbor.
Youth Art Competition
As part of Hot Works' dedication to art education, a Youth Art Competition is offered for students in grades K–8 or ages 5–13. Original artwork will be displayed all weekend under the "Youth Art" tent, offering $350 in awards.
